Key agenda items
- an update on the Mayoral Forum and individual council discussions on central government’s Simplifying Local Government proposal
- an update on the Regional Spatial Planning workstream including progress towards establishing a Regional Spatial Planning Committee, options for a secretariat and programme team to support the work and options for funding the work
- Canterbury Climate Partnership Plan update, noting implementation progress and the outcome of the high-level strategic review of the Plan and discussion on levels of funding for Year 3 implementation are underway, given the significantly changed policy and funding environment.
